So in today's lesson we talked about lighting. When we went through the notes on lighting fixtures, what came to mind is my experience of seeing how dramatic lighting can cast an effect on a person, an object and an atmosphere.




I remember I walked through the corridor outside Po Lam MTR station at night once. And the spotlight just set me in the mood of a 杜琪峰's movie。Like in the movie "大隻佬", the way Celia Cheung and Andy Lau walked through at mid night made me wonder where this beautiful night street is.

And then there is another movie in mind, Somewhere in time, in which the lighting draws beautiful outlines of the actors.







A more recent one shall be 志明與春嬌 according to someone's comment. Let's see.
